📦E-COMMERCE

Premium portable charger ad

If you want to see the full ad for Mello, you can look it up here.

Active: 538 days

Believe it or not, this ad has been running for a whopping 538 days. The brand has been running it to get likes on its Facebook page which I assume is the channel they were building their 'list’ of potential backers for their Kickstarter.

This ad captured my eye based on the premium feel of it. Especially since it’s just marketing a simple portable charger but making it look like a Ferrari ad or something along those lines.

I think the main takeaway here is that you can position any product into a premium ‘feel’ and charge 10x the price, like this one.

I wouldn’t personally blow $50 on a portable charger when I can get a decent one for $20 on Amazon. Anyway, this ad clearly was executed really well because this product made literally $1 million in Kickstarter.

🗄B2B

AI clip editor ad for creators

If you want to see the full ad for Opus Clip, you can look it up here.

Active: 33 days

I thought this ad was executed pretty well. You instantly just 'get’ exactly what the ad is selling, AI clipping long-form video into snippets to various social media channels.

The ad leverages the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) model, capturing attention with bold text, high-contrast visuals, and a video thumbnail.

It builds interest by listing compelling AI-powered features, appealing to content creators seeking efficiency.

The ad does well by explaining thoroughly that the app reduces friction by emphasizing a quick upload process, reinforcing a low-effort, high-reward user experience.

I think the strategic use of social proof and urgency ("first clips free") encourages immediate action, making it a high-converting ad.

🏪SERVICE BASED

Local Ohio roof replacement ad

If you want to see the full ad for Upside Roofing & Siding, you can look it up here.

Active: 34 days

This ad effectively employs price anchoring by first mentioning high roofing costs ($15K–$30K) before revealing the $7K offer, making it seem like a bargain.

The use of curiosity-driven messaging ("Only $7,000 for a roof in Ohio?!") hooks the audience, aligning with the AIDA model by grabbing attention and sparking interest.

The informal and conversational tone makes it more relatable, reducing perceived sales pressure.

I think the video format with text overlays ensures engagement, even for users scrolling without sound. The ad strategically differentiates the brand from competitors by emphasizing affordability, appealing to budget-conscious homeowners and driving action.
