💡From Idea to Launching My SaaS

After weighing my options, I've decided to pivot from developing a full-stack Micro SaaS platform to building a Chrome extension instead. The technical overhead is significantly lower, making it an ideal learning project for getting comfortable with Cursor's development workflow. I've already shipped the initial prototype, and through my research, I've identified a genuine gap in the lead magnet creation space. While I'm keeping the specifics under wraps for now, I can share that it streamlines the process of creating lead magnets via Notion's ecosystem. This ad nails "show, don't tell" marketing.

The simple unboxing format with a clean background lets the product demonstrate its low-light capabilities without any distracting CGI or flashy effects.

It feels authentic and builds immediate credibility by showing real functionality rather than making empty promises.

However, it could improve by adding a quick side-by-side comparison showing regular camera footage vs. the AKASO in the same conditions, or include a brief timestamp showing how quickly it adapts to darkness.

This 15-second ad drew my attention through its wholesome visuals, the crisp New York autumn footage, the falling leaves, and the playful dog.

All capturing those genuine moments that resonate.

What really works here is the clean, uncluttered messaging: just "this app creates reels for you."

No fluff, no overselling, straight to the core value proposition.

The music choice deserves credit too. It does give a bit of a ‘wow’ factor to the ad.
